2. Excellent article!
Only, don't quit! Take a step back for a little while. Remember what you always told me, "if something isn't working (like with coding) then take a walk and come back to it later and usually you will find the problem," and you have always been right with that. I still do that to this day.

I know how you feel though. I have something happening in my life right now, that I am ready to quit on as well, because with this certain situation I can't see the end of the tunnel. But I know if I do quit I will come to regret it later. So listen to my words for a change... take a step back, Sapph, go out with your lovely wife and have fun, and get back to the serious shit in life after a decent break. Once you have had the rest, you will be ready to take the bastards on again.

Excellent article btw.

3. Amazing piece. And oh do I feel you.
So much to think about in that piece. It is time to embrace the living of our lives again, that is for sure. We must. I'm going back to being me.

5. You have earned the right to walk away if you want.
After reading your blog for a while though, I know that you may be done as LGBT voice but you will not quit writing. Trying to hold all of your ideas in would really exhaust you.
You post brought visions of Pride Marches down Market Street and Halloween on the Castro. I thought it was over when so many started to die, there were weeks when all I wore was funeral black.
Hang in there darlin'. Hold your wife close.
As an old Dyke who has lived in the SF area the best advice I can give you is to go camping. Mother Earth has a way of restoring your soul.

6. Outstanding writing.
I hope you'll keep on doing that, at least. Wish I'd known you when I lived in that wonderful town.
