Saturday March 7th Marriage Equality Event.
On Saturday, from 11am - 2pm we will be collecting postcards in support of marriage equality, as well as recruiting new volunteers at the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Nutley.

We weill be meeting inside the Starbucks at 483 Franklin Avenue on the corner of Franklin Avenue and Vreeland Avenue.

If you can't make it to this North Jersey event, we have many more future events in the works, as well as other ways to get involved. And as always, please pass this information on to family and friends if you think they would be interested in attending.

4. Learning soo much about how to get things done.
And we are tremendously close to getting marriage equality passed in New Jersey.

But if it doesn't, I don't want to regret not doing everything in my power to help.

Besides, I really want to be 'post-marriage'.

5. Today went a lot better than I thought it would.
There wasn't as much resistance/revulsion as I thought there would be from people.

We have a lot more non-gay supporters out there than I sometimes think we realize.

3. We set a goal of getting 40 postcards (10 each) signed.
We ended up with 83.

So, yeah, today was quite successful.

And I've never craved before as beer as much as I did today.

St. Patrick's Day Parade + 70 degrees = WANT

6. Congratulations
There's nothing as satisfying as a successful campaigning day.
Let all your friends know how stoked you are about it and get them to realize they could feel that way too, if only they had joined in.
