Gay couple on "Wheel of Fortune"
This is second-hand information. I missed the show. So I know nothing more about it than this: The player's name was Robert. His fianceé's name was Chuck. Robert made it to the Bonus Round and won. He and Chuck looked very uncomfortable even hugging each other on stage. But at least the show did allow Robert to introduce Chuck as his fianceé. The last time a gay person won the bonus round, he introduced his boyfriend as his "best friend."

2. Did Pat Sajak have the week off or something?
I can't imagine that right wing asshat allowing an openly gay couple on his stage. Probably the only right wing talk show host to actually be canceled by FAUX News.

3. Didn't know that about him...
...after 25 years of "Wheel" you'd think Pat has seen it all... and with all the money he's made it seems like he wouldn't care what happens on his show now...

7. Pat had a late night talk show on CBS for a few months back in the 80's
Back before they had Letterman, and were looking for someone to take on Johnny Carson. "Wheel of Fortune" was the biggest hit on TV at the time, so they figured Sajak's popularity would carry over to late night. Didn't exactly work out that way. But he was on the air long enough to have a fill in guest host for a while.

And that fill in guest host? A certain Oxycontin addicted right wing Limpdick from Florida. That's when Pat's political leanings became obvious. :puke:

9. Oh yuck. I remember Pat Sajak having a talk show but I never saw it. Also, Vanna White
appeared in a TV movie called "Goddess of Love" (1988) which is hilariously awful.

4. I saw it.
It was wonderful. His fiancee came onstage when he won the $40,000.00 bonus prize. They hugged. Then the contestant said, "Come here, baby," and he gave him a second hug.

I didn't think they looked uncomfortable hugging at all.

8. The correct word would be the male form, fiancé
The word fiancée, with two e's (and note the location of the accent) is the female version. :hi:
