Re-framing the Marriage Equality Debate: Homogeneous Marriage

Not gay.

Not same-sex.

Not homosexual.

Homogenized.

Just like milk.

Homogeneous Marriage or Homogenized Marriage.

"Traditional" marriage would become "Non-Homogenized Marriage."

Let's see the Religious-Right claim that "homogeneous" is a gay-agenda code-word so they'll boycott milk.

We could re-frame the entire debate in terms of milk and other dairy products.

I suppose if two really skinny gay people marry it would be called a "Low-Fat Homogenized Marriage" and if they practice safe-sex it would be "Pasteurized."

A marriage in which one partner is a closeted gay person would become "fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt."

Two bisexual people of the opposite sex married to one another would be "half-and-half."

I don't mean to offend anyone with this. It wasn't my intention to slaughter any sacred cows.
