I was sickened to have ventured outside the GLBT forum only to find a number of self-professed gays rushing to the defense of Obama on this matter, even accusing other GLBTs of whining and overreacting. Who the hell are these people? (I don't even recognize the names and I've been on DU for years.) And of course they are getting lots of attaboys in return for their obsequience.

Probably best for me not to venture outside the GLBT forum right now. I didn't things could get any uglier for the GLBT community here but I was SO wrong.
