Links to 2008 Marijuana initiatives, ballot measures that pertain to the use, possession, and sale
of marijuana. Ordinarily, this means that a specific measure liberalizes or in some way decriminalizes the use, possession, and/or sale of marijuana in a particular state.

Marijuana initiative has links to the following initiatives.
2008
Arizona Taxation of Decriminalized Marijuana
California Nonviolent Offenders Initiative
California Repeal of Marijuana Penalties Initiative
Maine Medical Marijuana
Massachusetts Sensible Marijuana Policy Initiative
Mendocino County Measure B
Michigan Coalition for Compassionate Care Initiative
Michigan Medical and Recreational Peace Initiative

1. Very interesting...

Nothing happening out in this neck of the woods though, except the usual "Drug Task Force" warrant
taped to a sledgehammer or boot. What is the greater threat to your life, that bong hit you're
fixing to take or the heavily armed psyched up entry team just outside your door? You could deprive
the drug cartels of an immense amount of cash by legalization and regulation but that would make
too much sense, I guess.

2. The problem with common sense:
Common sense means that certain interests that benefit from a bad policy will lose money. Best to stick to injustice and stupidity - at least it doesn't threaten the social order!
