Un-phucking Amazing..
The Mets lose to the Pirates, by blowing a five run lead and losing by the final score of 8-5!

:woohoo:

2. Same damn problem that had last year
On the one side I think this is one of the first times our pen has really cost us a game in a long time.

But that was freakin ugly. I don't want to see that again for a very long time.

Hopefully Santana and Big Pelf nail down these next two.

Reyes might be back this weekend and this FMart kid looks like he might have something. That kid can snatch some bases. Given that citiField is not a power hitters park that should help out as Beltran gets healthy and Delgado comes back late July early August.

3. Pirates are what now?
I believe it's 23-28, that's .451 baseball..no wonder you're excited. After all, the consecutive season losing record is already as good as guaranteed....how pathetic.

4. Pittsburgh ALWAYS gives the Mets headaches.
I hope the Mets bounce back tomorrow.

6. I wouldn't look at your September schedule if I were you.
Lots of mediocre teams mixed in with some tough ones.

Recipe for a Mets disaster.

10. It's always best to prepare yourself for the worse as far ahead of time as
possible to help minimize the agony.

You know, much like the NY Islanders franchise.

11. That was upton.
Imitating madinmaryland, the bandwagon jumper, and calling us by our opposite names, is far from anything to be proud of.

5. I don't know how any team can stay motivated playing such a horrible
opponent in front of 11,812 crickets on a beautiful 76 degree evening in Pittsburgh.

That's a shame.

8. Funny, but I thought the game was played on the field and not in the stands.
:wtf:

12. The Pirates, not the Cards, kept the Mets out of the playoffs in '85. The Bucs
always play the Mets well.

In the meantime, the Nats are handing it to the Giants...
