1. I truly hate the Red Wings
so I'm rooting for the Pens. Trouble is, Detroit's got to be the favorite...they've got the experience, home ice and a better all around team.

2. Oh come on. What do you have against the poor people in Detroit
who are so down on their luck?

The next thing you're going to say is you want the Lions to lose the Thanksgiving game.

What a horrible person you are upton.

5. I don't want either of them to win it.
But I did pick Detroit to win it all a long time ago and they are going to. So it really doesn't matter what I want.

6. Anybody but the Red Wings...
...was not an option. So I choose Pittsburgh.

7. Wow, why all the hate for the Wings?
Even Detroit's good teams can't catch a break from you guys -- isn't all about who is good at the moment, according to your rules? Seems a little inconsistent to me.

Go Wings!

8. You don't need to ask
why us Sharks fans hate the Ring Dings...

9. Same reason as all the hate for...

...the Yankees, the Lakers, the Cowboys.

I'm a lifelong Laker fan and I used to wonder about that, too. Then over the years I began to notice when watching road games on TV how many Laker fans there were at every game. As soon as I realized that our local fans were not traveling to every game, I started to understand.

Go Lakers!

EDIT: Check out the NBA Finals thread if you don't believe me...lol.

11. Grew up in Detroit
so while I can understand others not caring for them, I can't get enough! Those of us old enough to remember the "House the Ned wrecked" are relishing this return to the top of the league.

12. When I go to Red Wings road games and see other Wings fans
they are almost invariably from Michigan. Many had to leave (including me) because of tough economic times. But they stayed true.

14. Sure Pens won game 3
but they did the same thing last year. Pittsburgh needs to get much more physical with Detroit..Anaheim showed how to play the Wings...tight checking and clogging up the neutral zone along with smacking them in the mouth occasionally. Unfortunately that's generally not the Penguins game, which makes them made to order for the hated Red Wings.
