4. We need more Brett Favre news
Does he still have the motivation?

Will he be out to prove the Packers wrong?

5. He might have one or two years left.

Let's see how much one or two years sells for. :eyes:

10. Can't happen
The deal says if they do that, then the Jets owe the Packers 3 first round picks. Kind of a poison pill.

11. It's his whole reason for living right now
>Will he be out to prove the Packers wrong?

If Favre can avoid injury and has a team that can even take the field, the Packers are going to bitterly regret this.

He's also single-handedly destroyed what's left of the Packers' GM's career, and most likely the coach's, too.

12. Favre = Iron man.
Big question: Is Rodgers at least not made of glass?

8. Okay, whenever I post any big Dallas Cowboys news
or other sports teams here in the metroplex, I expect to see them here in GD. Of course, that's the assumption that there is no Texas bigotry on DU.

9. LOL. The Rangers playing meaningful games in August is pretty big news

Let's just hope if they make the playoffs a few straight years and lose a world series that Ron Washington doesn't end up selling Nissans with Avery Johnson.

13. Believe it or not, RG, I'm not a big Rangers' fan
But it is cool to see them having so much fun. However, we all know with their lack of pitching, they still have a very, very remote chance of gaining a wild card.
