Congrats to the God Damn Pat's and their God Damn fans!

Oh---about my God Damn avatar--- Me and Pitt never finalized our bet, but I thought I'd go ahead and honor it by flying the God Damn Pat's avatar till the end of the month.

God Damn Patriots!

2. WHAT?!?! I thought you have to fly the avatar all the way to the
first preseason game.

I mean what kind of bet is 11 days? Actually, it's almost the 21st, so 10 days?!?

That's all you have to pay for talking all of that smack?!?!

Will gets to decide, but I mean it's barely punishment as it is "being forced" to use the avatar of the best team in the NFL!!

A REAL BET FOR TRUMAD

If the Pats do go 19-0, you rock the Pats avatar until the first pre-season game.

If the Pats fail, I'll rock the 'Phins avatar until the first pre-season game.

Mmm?

5. For most of my life that was how I was
I've been a Red Sox fan for as long as I can remember. It's only been the past 4 years that there's been a positive outcome.

I'm not a football fan but, living in New England, I root on the Pats. And I remember them as the Boston Patsies for too many years.

Thanks for your gracious congratulations. I'm hoping Democrats have as good a year as the Pats - and we all win the big prize!

6. SEE! that is what I told my buddies in Vegas
seriously I know that I am bad at picking games but throw in a point spread and there clearly can't be anything good coming from it.

BTW you could not have come CLOSE to going in the wrong direction with the Pats this year I mean not even CLOSE. Whoo boy twenty years from now you are going to think about prothesizing against these guys. Wow totally off the mark. I could offer more expressions of how badly you missed this mark but what good would it do? WOW horrifically bad. A level of bad that we rarely see outside of a crushing blow to ones public and personal reputation.

Holy crap how could someone be that wrong you really have to ask yourself from an evaluation standpoint internally or if you asked an outside source to bring their perspective on it everyone would agree that you might actually have a slightly lower chance of failing if you bet against the tides but then who would do that? God could only imagine a view from inside the anal region that might in any way lead to that.

7. Get rid of the absurd avatar
Seriously, it's like TIA with a Diebold avatar.

That's why I bet almost every day, and cold cash. Lose everything yesterday and by halftime the next day it's long forgotten. Man to man bets have lingering potential so I avoid them, unless the other guy is a world class sucker. In 20+ years in this town I'm exactly 8-0 in that situation.

Actually, I think your handicapping instinct is very good, in football and horse racing and otherwise. But I sensed how inevitable the Pats were in the Ravens game. In 30+ years rooting for the last unbeaten to fall, no one has ever received a series of breaks like that, late in the pivotal game. The regular season Giants game was the only one I targeted subsequently. Once NE survived there, 19-0 seemed like a formality.

Too bad Drew Brees wasn't the Charger QB today. If so, I think an upset was altogether possible. Brees defeated the 13-0 Colts at Indy in '05, and this Charger team overall is superior to the '05 version. But a young injured QB didn't provide much hope.

BTW, going opposite of me in the playoffs would have been profitable the past 2 weekends. I was 3-1 in the playoffs against the spread at one point. Now 3-5. Damn YPPA Differential system.
