Schilling sent for medical tests
Francona cites shoulder as issue following rough outing

ATLANTA -- A day after not striking out a batter in a start for the first time in 14 years, Red Sox ace Curt Schilling was sent back to Boston on Tuesday for a medical examination.

Red Sox manager Terry Francona indicated that Schilling's right shoulder might be an issue. The big right-hander will be looked at by Red Sox medical director Tom Gill.

"I think his shoulder was a little -- he was just having trouble getting loose," Francona said. "With all the humidity night, I think our thought would be that it would be easy to get loose. He didn't complain of pain or anything, it's just the ball wasn't coming out ."

Schilling was belted around by the Braves to the tune of 10 hits and six runs over 4 1/3 innings.

3. I don't like him either. But I'm not happy he may be injured.

4. Injuries Are a Part of Sports. And Being a Phillies Fan, I'm Pro-Injury for Schilling
I've hated that son of a bitch ever since the attention-whoring, non-team-supporting, covering-his-head-with-a-towel-crap that he pulled during the 93 World Series while Mitch Williams was pitching (with admittedly mixed results). He only became a bigger jackass from that point on.

Some people despise Roger Clemens. I despise Curt Schilling. A shoulder injury's too good for him. I hope his balls fall off.
