It is way early but Arod appears to be on a mission.
He hit his 10th HR today, a 3 run walkoff.

He's hitting .350 with 26 RBIs, 15 of his 20 basehits were for extra bases and has a slugging percentage of .959!

He is seriously locked in right now and I hope he mashes some Red Sox ass this weekend.

8. What a freaking game, playoff atmosphere baseball in April!!!
I am so glad the old slappy from last season made an appearance in the top of the 9th and not the new improved version of this season

Okajima won the award for brass balls to throw that pitch to Arod

9. Doesn't mean too much now.
Pride was basically the only thing at stake in April.

Of course I am pissed that the Yanks dropped two straight but no need to panic just yet. Way too early for that.

11. Think he's interviewing for a new job?
I hope the pre-season chatter, that he was done after this year, was just gossip. He's found his stride.

12. He won't leave. He's too image conscience.
He's not going to spoil the goodwill he has finally created with Yankees fans (which hopefully continues) by either asking for even more money (which really hurts the Yanks since the Rangers still pick up a 1/3 of the tab right now) or leaving NY after he couldn't hack it.

13. I sure hope not...
I always thought he had it in him, if he'd been able to get his head in the game. Maybe he finally got his shorts snapped. Lifelong Yanks fan, and I'm happy to see it. Funny, A-Rod's the LEAST of the Yankee's worries, now...

14. Yes but he is in his "walkout" year in his contract
and his "dad" is now managing in Chicago. Don't be suprised if he becomes a Cub next year.
