But seriously, the guy is fun to watch. It's hard to imagine what his numbers might have been if he'd played all his years with the three-point line in play. I know they had it for part of his time in the NBA, but it's his college numbers that were really amazing: averaged over 40 points a game all three years he played, without the benefit of the 3-pt field goal :wow:

There was something very bizarre in Maravich's autopsy. I think he had only one artery to the heart, forcing it to work double. I remember reading at the time that doctors almost certainly wouldn't have allowed him to play high level athletics if that had been identified.
