1. Sean Taylor was perhaps the 5th most prominent Cane in that game
Frank Gore got a TD and ran well. Reggie Wayne had a 72 yard TD catch from MVP Carson Palmer. Ed Reed made two interceptions. Andre Johnson made a huge catch for a big gain. Devin Hester ran back a punt about 60 yards, avoiding two tackles from Troy Polamalu on the same return.

Still a bit sickening that all that talent equated to only one title in 2001, and controversial second places finishes in 2000 and 2002.

I'm not a huge Sean Taylor fan, not when Ed Reed preceded him at the same position at Miami and was unquestionably better. Reed must have made 10 big plays against Eric Crouch in the Rose Bowl title game. A year later Taylor made an end zone pick against Ohio St but let Maurice Clarett strip the ball away during the runback. Reed would have taken it the distance and changed the game.

What was the topic? Oh yeah, Bills punters are tough. Paul Maguire would have had a stalemate at worst.
