That would be a bad thing for his career. I know he thinks he desevers more money, but if he wants more money he should just sign the contract now and play well for the year and the rest of his contract and then demand a new contract with more money. This time if the Saints do not give him what he wants he should walk. However, now this will destroy his career. It seems that someone is telling him that another team will want him after he sits out for a year, but I think team will be turned off by him doing this and he will fall very far in the draft and end up in a worse situation where he cannot ask for more money. He should just sign the contract now.
