1. I would never pretend to be a Duke fan.....
but what's going on there? I read the Rolling Stone article and was appalled. The sense of entitlement amongst the boys (I won't call them men) there is really something.

2. OH NO!
I had heard from some who knew someone.... anyway I had heard that he was no stranger to the recipe as they say. This was apparently the basis of all the talk about him being "out of condition" at the end of the season and it affecting his shot.

Still this is too bad.

Okay he's a Dookie I am over feeling bad for him.

3. I don't buy that.
While I don't doubt the man loves his sauce, the fact that he worked so freaking hard for 3 years to get faster(dropping weight etc) disabuses me of the notion that his partying interfered with his play at the end of the year.

I think he was just exhausted. He was relied on very heavy last year and defenses were gunning for him. 36 games at 37 minutes per game will take its toll.

4. he just wanted some street cred
everyone thought he was the lily-white boy from Duke, he just wanted to break out of that, you know, for marketing purposes.

or maybe not. You know, I keep hearing that people make mistakes, this is true. And I certainly have had my share of the old irish medicine, and yet never been dumb enough to drive. not good judgement at all (and I'd say that about anyone who pulled an illegal u-turn while drunk)
