Only 2 in the NFC that is better then 5-4. Not really a point but something I felt like pointing out.

1. The loss against the Ravens is going to come back to haunt the Jets

2. The NFC is a lot easier
It basically comes down to the 2 wild cards.

The only real contenders are:

Giants (but fading)
Loser in the NFC Central (Packers or Vikings)
Loser in the NFC West (Rams or Seahawks)

Philly and Atlanta are going to win their divisions and none of 4-5 or below teams really have a shot

3. Pats, Steelers, Colts, Chargers, Ravens, and Jaguars for the AFC
Eagles, Packers, Falcons, Rams, Seahawks, and Vikings in the NFC

4. Denver is coming out from the AFC
Edited on Thu Nov-18-04 03:23 PM by Champ
Jake Plummer is just kicking ass for the offense(On pace for 34 TD's and 4,000+ passing yards, Rueben Droughns is on pace for 1,200 yards. (He hasn't started til week 6) Also can't forget about that talented defense with Lynch and Champ in the secondary, Al Wilson leading that talented young LB corps. Plus they consistently shut down LT which many teams cannot do. Also they are 3-0 in divisional play which helps in a possible case they tie with San Diego. Also they only have 2 teams with a winning record left on their schedule, alot of things point to Denver making the playoffs.

5. Ditto
Plus, Denver is likely to have the tiebreaker. They already beat SD (in Denver) and are 3-0 in the division.
