2. LOL....uh...you're playing my team, the 49ers.
Don't get your hopes up. It's going to be the Patriots again, all the way. Seriously. Yes, I'm calling it in the 2nd week. Patriots will win the Super Bowl. (bookmark)

3. Last year was a warm-up.
This is the Eagles' year. The Patsie dynasty is ended. The barbarians are at the gate.

5. So, the Falcons are a non-factor?
Eagles are gonna have to get by them to get to the Super Bowl in the first place.

We were missing Trotter and McNabb was injured. And despite those two MAJOR problems with our team, we would have one with one more touchdown. SuperBowl, here we come!

8. Eagles always blow their first game. It's a Philly tradition.
And a non-issue. Today the season started!

4. I'd like to agree with you (I'm a Pats fan)
They look pretty lousy today, though. And their schedule for the next few weeks is pretty damn tough. I hope, I hope, I hope.

7. Seriously- there's nothing to worry about.
You have Bill Bellichek and Tom Brady. That is ALL you need. You have your Super Bowl practically in the bag.

Brady looked like crap today, though. And all the penalties are sort of dishearening. I suppose Belichek will take a long, sober look at what went right and what went wrong. :)

16. He always does, and that's why they have done what they've done.
He keeps the ego out of the locker room. It did wonders for the team. They looked like crap today, though. Congratulations Panthers fans.

20. Not with the shitty way they played today.
Patriots suck ass. What was their excuse for the way they played today?

15. No, I was just joking about Rush
He's not back in rehab. The connection with McNabb is that a couple of years ago, during Rush's short stint working on TV as a football analyst, Rush claimed that the media only praised McNabb because he was a black man.

It seems tame in comparison to his calling Mayor Nagin: Mayor Nay-ger. :nuke:

13. Hah! Rush will be extra mean on Monday
Will sarcastically describe McNabb as "the greatest quarterback ever," etc. To say Rush is thin-skinned is to say Rove is calculating. Don't understand why the full court press of insults isn't put on him; he would crack (Coulter, too).
