4. It's been fun for me!!!
Go SERENA
GO RAFA

Wouldn't mind seeing Novak win, though, and I would like to see Woz pull it off. Woz really has no big weapons to beat Serena with unless Serena tanks. Woz is the best defender in the game, but she can only win if Serena makes too many mistakes. Stosur, with her serve and big hits, could give Serena (or Woz) trouble, but Stosur is such a head case.

5. I tend to think the semi between Caroline and Serena is actually the final...
and the semi between Djoker and Roger is the men's final.

6. So much for Andy Roddick's comeback...
Now all we have to do is wait for Murray to fall apart in his next match and things will be back to form.

9. I'm glad Roger didn't ruin the final
It would have been a simple wagering opportunity, like the French, but a lousy match. He can't take 3 sets from Nadal at this stage minus injury or fluke.

Nadal will want it more than Djokovic, who is not as ruthless as Nadal or Roger. Djokovic was clowning with the crowd while down 5-3 40-30 match point to Federer's serve. That would be unthinkable for the other two in that situation.

Wozniacki should be the 6th to 8th ranked in women's tennis, given her lack of any weapon. To be #1 is an ultimate indictment of this era.

10. Well, Been Away For A While... Still I DO Follow TENNIS In A BIG Way!
My favorite is still on a roll and I'm speechless! Roger has NEVER been a favorite of mine, but I do give him all the credit in the world for all he's done. HOWEVER, it seems to me that he really DOES NOT like Nole! After watching the videos it was even more apparent and this makes me sad.

I fully agree, as does Nole that the shot he made was a stunner even for him. He stated that he just HAD to go for something and he was lucky that it went in. I can respect him for admitting it, but Roger's reply was a bit uncalled for. Roger had the crowd with him almost the WHOLE time and the fact that Novak pulled it out says a GREAT deal about him.

If Novak doesn't win Monday I'm not going to be crying puddles, but once again the crowd will be with Rafa, NO DOUBT! I have been a Novak fan since way back and have loved seeing him progress. He does get a lot of media coverage now, but for some reason there are many who would prefer that Roger or Rafa beat him. I'm not really sure why. It may have started back with Roddick at the Open a couple of years ago, but since that time I've seen Andy complain about HIS injuries too and felt he took a "cheap" shot at Novak back then. I still remember it well. Andy has had to eat his words.

Granted, Novak is a showman which I find entertaining, so is Wozniacki but Novak has been able to up his game and actually has earned the No. 1 title. I feel it will soon change for him, but it's been so pleasurable for me to see how hard he's fought against 2 of the greatest players of this era. He's had to overcome these 2 time after time and I for one REALLY respect him. He didn't do it by many "lucky" shots as Roger said yesterday. He has worked hard and deserves to be No. 1!

I'm so very happy for him, so VERY happy and he has EVERY right to bask in the limelight whether other players like it or not. I feel it's part of his DNA. Three times now, when he's beaten Roger I've seen Roger make some veiled comments about him and for me it's made me respect Roger less.

So, for all those who make nasty comments about Nole, I don't care. I'm not talking about anyone here, it's just something I "feel" about the crowds.

Tomorrow he may not win, it has to come to an end and will. I wish him the best tomorrow, it would cap a magnificent year and I will be on HIS side all the way.

That's my rant, and he's still my favorite! As far as Serena, well she's a BIG WOMAN and has power. I'm not so sure she's been one of my favorites ever, but I think she'll win. I like some of the new American girls coming up and am looking forward to their success.

One more thing, I am extremely happy with how Mardy Fish has been doing, it's great to see. He's really one classy guy as far as I'm concerned. Andy, not so much.

JMHO!

11. WOW! JUST WOW! The Little Engine That Could... Just Took Out
Big Bad Serena! Amazing! Cool, calm, collected, courageous and VICTORIOUS! Don't ANYONE saw this one coming!

Hats off to her! I still don't think it was real. Yesterday's match with Fed & Nole was SUPER, but this win is a real UPSET! Wonder what happened.

I always dislike it when Serena gets upset, she really does herself in. She's better than that and has been around for such a long time. I thought she had it in the bag for SURE. Maybe she did too.

But, it was NOT to be!
