4. That's why I hired HawkstraDumbAss to do IT this time
The real Hawkstradamus -- noted in his own mind for infallibility -- is keeping his prediction occulted until after Game 7. Works every time.

8. Bruins set another all-time record
The Bruins' four goals in a span of 4:41 in the first period set a Stanley Cup Final record for the fastest four goals by one team, eclipsing the old mark of 5:29 set by the Canadiens against the Red Wings on March 31, 1956

10. Great series
7 games just like I wanted. I wonder how much Fork has suffered.

Anyways rooting for them in GM 7.

13. lol...I'm loving it, win or lose.
This is exactly why I love the sport so much. Imo, no other sport even comes close to this kind of intensity and excitement. Tough to ask for a better series than this to decide who totes the Cup this year. :)

15. Henrik gets 1st point of the series
What a tanker.

I think the Nucks will win tomorrow night, but they need to tune up.

B's future is bright - Marchand, Kredji, Horton, Lucic, Seguin. I look forward to seeing them in the finals vs. my beloved Blackhawks a few times over the next 5 years.

16. The B's are built for the long haul.
On top of the players you mentioned, both Chara and Bergeron are signed up for another 7 years. Bergeron is only 25 and clearly one of the best two-way players in the league. And after Thomas leaves they have a super young goalie in Tuuka Rask (TUKES!). They also have 2 or 3 more players on the Providence Wanna-B's that are close to being NHL ready. Getting to the Cup is pretty tough, but they should be in the mix for quite a few years to come.

17. It would be nice if it develops
The NHL could use the Hawks & B's getting good together. Should Toews, Kane, Keith, Boland, Seabrook, Leddy, Moran, Hjalmersson meet the Bruins' babies in the finals a couple years running, the real hockey fans would get revved.

One other thing. Most thought that Chara was nothing but a circus freak when he arrived. As it is, he'll be a serious HoF candidate.

23. Woo Hoo!! Way to get it done...
Thomas was a monster - I was glad to hear the announcers say that his performance was as good as some of the marquee-name goalies of the past.

25. "Look on my profatsy, ye mighty, and despair." - HawkstraDumbass
Edited on Thu Jun-16-11 08:20 AM by SpiralHawk

...And on the pedestal these words appear:
`My name is HawkstraDumbass, Profat of Profats:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away".

29. Why is the Bahston Gahden such a chamber of horrors for Luongo?
Why did he play like shit in Boston and is practically unbeatable anywhere else?

Is it the beans?
