1. Eagles: No truth to rumors about Andy Reid, Jon Gruden
The Philadelphia Eagles moved Monday to quash rumors of a potential head-coaching shake-up.

The team released a statement saying there is no basis for speculation that head coach Andy Reid -- the NFL's longest-tenured coach -- would be replaced by Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden.

"It is simply not true," the team said.

Gruden, who won a Super Bowl as the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2002 season, has said he expects to remain at ESPN next season.
