****Bowl Projections - Week 13****
A lot has changed this week, and so the bowl projections change accordingly. Wisconsin gets the automatic bid out of the Big Ten and faces the highest Non-AQ due to BCS rules in TCU. Stanford finishes in the Top 4 of the BCS Standings meaning they will earn an automatic bid to the BCS. UCONN fits better at the Orange Bowl and Stanford at the Fiesta, due to Stanford's lack of traveling skills. Oklahoma defeats Nebraska to go out of the Big 12 and VA tech beats FSU to go for the ACC

BCS National Championship
Auburn vs Oregon

Rose Bowl
Wisconsin vs TCU

Sugar Bowl
Ohio State vs Arkansas

Orange Bowl
Virginia Tech vs UCONN

Fiesta Bowl
Oklahoma vs Stanford

And now for some of the rest...

Capital One Bowl - Michigan State vs LSU
Cotton Bowl - Nebraska vs Alabama
Outback Bowl - Iowa vs South Carolina
Gator Bowl - Penn State vs Florida
Chick Fil-A - Mississippi State vs Florida State
Humanitarian Bowl - Boise State vs Ohio

1. I'm afraid Iowa may make the toilet bowl
The way they played yesterday, they will not make anything that even resembles a big time bowl game. A lot of people around here are thinking the Texas Bowl. Big Ten vs. Big 12. Mediocre teams from each conference.

4. Sorry, Mad.
No Outback for Iowa. I'm sure the Bowl scouts are quite aware that HawkeyeNation will not travel to see a team that quit on them. Maybe Insight or TicketCity(?). At best, Gator.

5. Who else then? Michigan Team that got drubbed? Northwestern Team that got drubbed?`

I guess its gotta be Penn State then? But Iowa beat both, so it will be interesting.

Edit: Obviously Iowa lost to NW, but a Persa Less team with a smallish fanbase isnt going to the Outback

8. Better yet, can't wait to see that UCONN juggernaut in the BCS.
What a fuckin' travesty.

9. UCONN is actually building a decent program, but no, they're
definitely not there yet.

10. By winning the ACC
which, for whatever reason, has an automatic bid.

12. If Stanford doesn't finish in the top 4
they're going to get screwed. Just watch.

13. How are they going to get screwed?
I do not see any scenario whatsoever.

14. If they don't finish in the top 4
which seems unlikely, but could happen, Stanford is then not guaranteed a BCS bowl. And considering they have a small fan base (heck, they have empty seats at home games), there would be a good chance the Cardinal would be passed over in favor of a lesser ranked team. Leaving them in the Alamo Bowl, which is tantamount to being screwed..

15. Please provide a scenario...
Where a lesser ranked team will play in a BCS bowl game instead of Stanford. I fail to see it. Not more than 2 teams from a conference can play in BCS bowl games and I really see no reason under any circumstances where a second team from Big 12 will be playing at a BCS bowl game.

16. Check it out..
several different possibilities for Stanford are provided for here. Including a scenario in which Stanford is left out of a BCS bowl completely.
