Yes!!! Lawrence Thomas of Detroit Renaissance High School. You can look him up. Wow. That is a huge get for Coach Dantonio. Looks like linebacker Greg Jones will have a worthy successor!

1. Great get.....
I'm a Penn State guy myself but like to see this kid in the Big Ten (at a school other than Ohio St. or Michigan).

2. I'm with you. I don't think Michigan ever had a chance.
Probably Ohio State, either. Lawrence Thomas is a class kid, good student, who was offered by everybody from Miami to USC and all the schools in between. He's definitely a five-star recruit, and look out in the future when we play you (when Joe is 97, he will still be there). That said, I wish Penn State and Ohio State all the best to represent the Big Ten as you did this year. I root for all the Big Ten teams, except when they play my Spartans - except for those Arrogant A's in a school southeast of East Lansing, who I always hope reap the fate they so richly deserve. Like on Sunday. In basketball. In the Breslin Center.

3. Yup, Faygo.
And Iowa will kick your ass, no matter who you get. MSU is Thug U. Do whatever to change that. That is what you are.

4. Nasty and uncalled for.
A lot of really good kids there and Coach D has handled problems with others he gave chances to. Seems like Iowa had some nasty turns, too, as I recall, under Coach Ferentz. Name the problems under Coach Izzo, by the way.

Thanks for your hate-filled post. I will remember it.

8. I doubt you'll remember it, Faygo.
I think you lost it when Watson lost to Cink.

10. Izzo is allowed to handle problems internally
Mateen Cleaves had a rap sheet a mile long and it was pretty well known. And he's only one example. But Izzo wins so he has more leeway; that's how they do things there. I grew up near East Lansing, knew (and know) plenty of people on the inside at State who knew and know the real scoop.

Beware of glass houses, they can come back and bite you.

From one of the arrogant As from that school to the south....

IOWA CITY - It appears Iowa football player Adrian Clayborn will plead guilty in the assault case against him.

A hearing has been set for March 19 for Clayborn to enter a guilty plea and for the disposition of the case, which in criminal cases typically means the sentencing, according to court records filed on Wednesday.

Clayborn, 21, was charged with assault causing bodily injury after he allegedly punched a taxicab driver in January 2009.

7. LOL, Tru.!!
Actually, Clayborn was doing community service. If you knew the hacks in this town (I've had several run-ins meself) you'd kick the shit out of them, too. They don't have meters. Just make up fares as they go along. Just assholes.
