What's the logic with the Pro Bowl scheduling this year?
It's the week before the Super Bowl.

6. So the winner determines who gets home field advantage in the World Series.
And the MLB All-Star game will be used to determine who gets home court advantage in the NBA championship.
The NBA All-Star game will be canceled and replaced with a bikini competition.

3. The logic is that no one watched it.
They're hoping that by putting it before the super bowl in the week between confrence championships and the super bowl, someone will actually watch it. Before, it's been after the super bowl and kind of a letdown, as such no one cared.

4. The thing that doesn't make sense is
I can't imagine the Pro Bowl players on Super Bowl teams will not play in this game. I've read it's to keep interest up for the Super Bowl but I don't understand it because of the Pro Bowl players on Super Bowl teams.

will not have to play...the Pro Bowl should be eliminated anyways, the risk of injury is too high.

9. The reason they moved it from Hawaii
is because it never sold out creating a blackout for Hawaii residents. They think hosting the game in Miami gives them a better chance of selling out.

Local area blackout rules apply to playoff games, Super Bowl, and the Pro Bowl.
