The BCS Are Just Like Blue Dog Democrats
A tiny group of asshats that have too much power and think they know what's best for the people, even though the people have stated what they want. The people favor a public option and a Division I college football playoff system.

1. And the People's Proposal for Adjusting NCAA Div 1 will be what?
They play 12 games as it is. A playoff could make the season as much as 16 games.
As I've said to friends, if I had a child that was a lock 1st round selection. I'd tell him to play the first game of the playoffs, play like a stud, then be too sick to play the rest of the games.

The people aren't going to pay my son the millions he loses should he get injured.
Willis McGahee probably lost close to 11 millions dollars due to his injury in one bowl game

Unless they're going to change the regular season to be fewer games a playoff system makes it too long

2. If They Can Have A Playoff In Division II and III
Then why not Division I?

5. Fine. Eliminate The Ridiculous Games
Florida played Troy and Charleston Southern this year. Limit the games to conference play only and go from there.

4. Twelve games is a recent development...norm was 10 in the past...
...they need a playoffs system if only for 4 teams, only 2 more games...easily done and break the SEC stranglehold on the myth thta they are actually good.

7. Blame the writers and coaches
Their ratings make up 2/3 of the BCS rankings. How a coach is supposed to judge the 115 teams he didn't have to study this week, I'll never know. As for the writers, well....yeah.
