You know Penn State was ready for them, but starting in the 2nd quarter the Iowa defense really got tough. Very impressive game.

And cut their teeth on SEC football. I grew up in the SEC and love it myself. BUT - after watching last night's game, one nephew called this morning to tell me that he's off the SEC wagon 'cause he loves watching Big 10 D. Lord, they were hittin' last night and there's gonna be more of that to see.

18. Sorry about the bad advice

I knew Arizona State's defense was going to be strong and they were, gave the ASU offense two gifts in Georgia territory and scored a TD off an INT. I just didn't expect the horrible performance by the QB Danny Sullivan against a defense giving up 400+ yards a game. He was throwing sideline passes out of bounds and underthrowing or overthrowing passes all game. Half his completions was a screen to RB Dimitri Nance who had a really good game. Vontaze Burfict is for real though, a big stop on 3rd and goal at the one as a well as a huge stop on 4th & 1. He also knocked down a pass on 3rd and short midway through the 4th qtr.
