Here's a great reason to root against Ohio State next Saturday...
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog/dr_saturday/post/Terrelle-Pryor-endorses-Michael-Vick-relativism;_ylt=AmluWzlyaotPZs_jBvQenIccvrYF?urn=ncaaf,187516

Terrelle Pryor is usually compared to another tall, lanky, hotly-recruited quarterback who could outrun everyone on the field, Vince Young, but the sophomore pledged his eye-black allegiance Saturday to another scrambler of his formative years, the recently resurrected Michael Vick. Understandable, given that Vick was the embodiment of "athletic quarterback with an arm" when Pryor was developing along the same lines from the ages of roughly 10 to 16-years old.

Childhood heroes die hard, and from the sound of things after Ohio State's escape against Navy Saturday, Pryor is more than willing to forgive his idol of sins even worse than the ones Vick has actually been accused of committing:

In case you missed that, Pryor's take on criminal justice and rehabilitation is as follows:

Not everybody is a perfect person in the world. Everyone kills people, murder people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever.

Truly spoken like a 19-year-old yet to complete construction on the maximum security wall of banality in the presence of reporters: Murder, theft, whatever, man. We're all just trying to make it through this world. With that kind of philosophy, animal cruelty must rate somewhere between a misdemeanor and a parking ticket. Speak with him, coach, and issue the requisite "clarification," and remind him to never say anything remotely interesting in public ever again.

So, is Pryor just young, stupid, or a criminal in waiting. What a jackass.

1. Yeah he is a jackass
There are a lot of asinine atheletes .. Look at Oregon and Boise State. But your holier than thou reasoning for rooting for USC doesn't hold water considering they are slimy cheaters who get away with crap that would get other schools banned from TV...

2. I'm not a fan of USC, a fan of the great Fighting Irish...
...but this guy Pryor needs to know that not everyone kills, murders, steals...

8. What about those Pittsburgh Pirates. We still have more World Series Championships in the
last 55 years, than the Smallmen of SF and the Roid Sox (combined!)

I'm hoping for a 50-0 a-whooping.

10. Clearly the Senator should have "coached" this young man a little better in his
"mediaspeak". Its surprising given how practically all of The Senator's kids end up speaking like him.

Regardless, it was a stupid statement that could have been framed differently.

By the way, how are those USC investigations into USC recruting/Reggie Bush going? I haven't heard that much on the 4-letter about that lately. Oh, I know why, because they are on the "hate OSU/hate Big TEN" meme. Why is that Oklahoma has lost its last couple of BCS games and no one says they are overrated, but OSU is? By the way, OSU lost by 2 points to #3 Texas, who will likely be in the BCS title game this year, not a bad showing.

11. Terrelle Pryor didn't even get the name of his own university right when he signed
He proudly announced he was going to the University of Ohio State.

17. Hey! That's THE University of Ohio State
You have to add THE in front of it, or students there start getting confused.

16. "Everyone kills people, murders people"
Wow. Seriously?

I hate rooting for USC, but I hope they leave nothing behind in Columbus other than a bloody streak on the field.

Next time, kid, do something in your career before running off your mouth. You're a fucking nobody at this point and you've just set the tone for the rest of your career. Another brilliant Ohio State University student!
