1. Is there anything more frustrating than the Giants offense?
Tonight Lincecum in 7 IP gives up 2 ER on 4 hits while SO 11..and still loses 2-1.

Their great pitching allowed only 3 runs in 3 games in Philadelphia, but thanks to their inept offense they lost 2 of them.

Strangely enough, thanks to the Mets they're still only 1 back.

5. Carney Lansford, hitting coach, would agree
He's been trying to make batters more selective and work the pitch count, but some of these guys just don't get it. I would think it's easy for opposing pitchers to shut them down knowing that.
