4. Frisco Choker change of subject
Are you enjoying the choke job as much as I am?

You'll be gone from this board in a few weeks unable to stomach the shit stomping that's coming your way.

I think it really funny.

The Frisco Chokers. They lead the Wild Card. They're contenders.

HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAA!!!

Heimlich time!!!!

5. I just asked a simple question
if you're unable to answer it...fine, admit you're stupid and lets move on. I don't want you going into hysterics, like after little Davey's accident, again.... it's humorous but at the sametime I feel a certain sense of embarrassment for you.

Giants are only 3 games out with over a month to go in the season, they're still in a contending position. That, of course, is in sharp contrast to your Mets who haven't been able to do anything right all year. The hitting into the unassisted triple play is just emblematic of the Mets whole sorry season.

And you're looking forward to the Islanders?

8. It's just a matter of time
Edited on Sun Aug-23-09 06:23 PM by Upton
sooner or later the Giants or, for that matter, the Sharks are going to break through....and when they do, it will be all so much the sweeter for the wait.

2. I wouldn't go that far
Lincecum gave up only 3 hits in 7 IP, unfortunately one of them was a 2 run HR.

Rockies are doing just about everything right..hopefully the Giants can win tomorrow for a split in the series.

Getting a little psycho since probably ending David Wright's season?

9. That was Cain not Lincecum
who hit Wright. Tim's control has been off the last couple starts, today he couldn't get his fastball over...he was throwing mostly off speed stuff and if you notice he was pitching out of the stretch from about the 4th on even with nobody on base.

Are the Rox going to see Cain when we come to Frisco Friday? We'll need to buy some face guards.

Oh well, at least none of them have records, that I know of. :eyes:

25. When you pay Denny Neagle $51 million dollars...
and then he gets a $40 blow job, you've got to do something. He sucked so much anyway, he could have done it himself.

99% of that story is bullshit.

26.  "99% of that story is bullshit."
I remember when it came out, I also remember how the Rockies fundie Christianity was still being talked about during the 2007 WS.

What I don't remember is the Rockie organization denying it.

28. You like to talk about almost everything but what actually happens on the field.
Attendance, religion, political affiliation...you're on it like a goo on a Ghostbuster. If you can tell me how any one of those things matters on the field I'm all ears.

30. They're talking possible DL for Sanchez
due to a shoulder injury, he hasn't played for about a week and has already missed 10 games with the Giants. Too bad, he's a professional hitter and is a real spark plug for the Giants lineup...I like him.

He'll be around next year though, as Sabean has "strongly hinted" he'll pick up his option for next year.

32. The shoulder injury, and the present concern, happened about a week ago
but if you remember, originally the trade was held up by problems with Sanchez's knee, which of course happened when he was still playing for the Pirates, but that appears to be all right now.
