1. Dead as a doornail tonight, mad.
Might as well join me in the Lounge arguing about music.

2. Gloat-free Giants report
The Colorado Rockies defeated the San Francisco Giants this evening in Coors Field, Denver, by a score of 8-2.

The Rockies scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning off Giants' hurler Jonathan Sanchez when shortstop Troy Tulowitzki homered with two men on base. The Giants scored a single in the top of the sixth off Rockies' starter Jorge de la Rosa when Giants' star hitter Pablo Sandoval doubled home Andres Torres from first base. But the Rockies scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth to take a 5-1 lead, putting the game out of reach for the Giants.

De la Rosa went 7 and a third innings to earn his eighth victory against seven defeats, while Sanchez, who pitched a no-hitter against the San Diego Padres in his last outing, was tagged for his ninth loss against three wins.

The series is important to both teams, who are battling for the wild card position in the National League's post season line up. With tonight's win, the Rockies have a one-game lead over the Giants.

3. I was just surprised that Upton had not chimed in by now.
Pittsburgh got shut-out by the d-backs.
