Lincecum throws complete game 2 hitter!!..Giants stroll past Cards 10-0

The Giants maintained their wild card lead, Travis Ishikawa added a 3 run homer..but it was all about Tim tonight... He goes 9 complete, 2 hits, no walks and 8 K's, improving to 8-2 with an ERA of 2.37

That's 4 consecutive starts of 8 innings or more for not only the best young pitcher in baseball, but arguably the best of any age in MLB. And eat your heart out everyone...he's a GIANT!

2. He had no hitter kind of stuff

of course you could say that almost every time he goes out there.... only Pujols' double was hit hard.

Lincecum now leads MLB in Ks, 3rd in ERA, 3 out of his last 4 starts have been complete games, tying him with Cain for the most in the NL.

I'd say he's pretty good.

4. He is so good.

I imagine he will be the starter for the NL, which doesn't necessarily make me happy.

I can never enjoy our all star appearances because I'm always a wreck worrying about how they'll do.

8. I worry about injuries

you always hear about players like Dizzy Dean, who was hit in the toe by a line drive, or Ray Fosse, when Pete Rose ran him over, careers that were changed by All Star game injuries.
