Army of God pajamas for kids
This is... mind-boggling. I have't been able to figure out if this is or isn't a parody site, as it's just the sort of thing I can see the Talibangelicals doing. And anyway, isn't "Army of God" the name of a terrorist organization in Laos?

The website is http://www.armorofgodpjs.com/

1. Maybe change post title
Edited on Mon Aug-28-06 08:49 AM by Jed Dilligan
These are "armor of god" pjs, the "Army of God" was that weird group in Cambodia (?) who thought the twin little boys were God a few years back.

On edit: I'm wrong too. "God's Army" is what I was thinking of. The "Army of God" are US abortion-clinic bombers. Any way you slice it, God and military together equals something exceptionally awful!

6. Tim McVeigh was reportedly associated with members of the AOG.

and, apparently, he had conversations with, and took trips, with members of various home-grown terrorist groups such as Christian Identiy right before the Oklahoma City bombing.

I believe that he conspired with them.

Here is an article on the various connections:

About the Whole Armor of God

The whole Armor of God Pajama set will help your children to depend on God to protect them from their fears, doubts, and uncertainties at night so their sleep can be restful and peaceful.

They can keep their fancy pajamas, this is who I want to protect me at night:

I don't even know what to say - especially the hats, and the girl's hat in particular. I see therapy in these kids' futures.

15. Someone spends FAR too much time thinking about RPGs
Then again, I've been in one or another RPG group for most of the last quarter century, so I'm not exactly one to cast stones. :hi:

Cute description, especially the bit about flammability.

:wtf: :wtf:

To say this is a little over the top is an understatement.

Edit: here is the entire verse that "inspired" this:

Ephesians 6:10-18 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

Public Domain
A Public Domain Bible KJV at Zondervan Zondervan

10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Nobody has heard of metaphors.
