Listen.
I've been forced to work with some seminarians from one of the FINEST Theology schools in the nation. As a baptised, confirmed, and longtime practicing (sadly, no longer) Episcopalian, I can tell you that this School of Theology seems to train nothing more than arrogant assholes who feel entitled to preferential treatment.
They had zero personality or class, no empathy or humility whatsoever, and they even went so far as to demand that the business I helped manage be run according to THEIR rules.
These "servants of Christ" determined that my 63-year old employee and all others were not "good enough" to be seen by them. They forced me to make these employees take breaks in a room out of sight from them, as these new Episcopal priests don't want to be in the same room as the great unwashed poverty-ridden people who do their bidding.
They absolutely disgusted me and reaffirmed my decision to leave the Church. One had the audacity to tell me he'd pray for me.
I said, "Please don't. PLEASE don't do that. Just try being a nicer person. Can you do that?"
No, they can't. And I would hate to be a member of these ugly humans' future parishes. They are NOTHING like the wonderful priests I've known all my life.
So wherever this Bishop got her education, if it wasn't at this particular School of Theology, it's allright by me.
Now I have to go find some way to remove these awful memories this post stirred up.
