I love the irony. They don't get it.

He said in 2004: “Smoltz, a devout Christian, criticized those who want to legalize gay marriage,” the AP reported. “‘What’s next? Marrying an animal?’ he asked derisively.

1. All these guys who harp about family values seem to be the ones
All these guys who harp about family values always seem to be the ones who have multiple marriages due to their f--king someone half their age and dropping first wife to marry their mistress. Unlike a good number of people who don't get on their high horses about family values and stay married to the same person for the long haul.

2. No animal - just Adultery according to Jesus - breaking one of the
Big 10 No-No's they always want to mount at the courthouse and schools.

You know, if they hadn't stuck themselves with that "one man/one woman(at a time)" slogan they could have just allowed polygamy - it seems to be what they want anyhow - one man/as many women as he can get

3. I guarantee you that Smoltz probably has some "skeletons" in his closet...
...or prom dresses, or leather restraints.

I don't know dude, I haven't seen your latest wife.

4. In a Saturday Q&A with Iowa local legislators
one democrat(gay marriage supporter) made a pointed comment to a gay bashing Repuke rep who had recently been divorced and remarried that 'if we really cared about marriage we'd ban divorce." The Repuke was so flustered he couldn't even put a sentence together as he blustered. He finally stormed out.

5. This is the Hypocrisy I Hate.
Here is Mr Stand-up-for-traditional-marriage-gay marriage-threatens-traditional-marriage divorced and married a second time. I am so sick of strights who spew this crap, The need to take the beam out of their own eye first. Over 50% of all "traditional marriages" end in divorice. This is NOT the fault. of the GLBTQ community. But, hey, I guess cheating and hurting your spouse and making them disposable via divorce is just fine and dandy. Marrying someone for the hell of it and getting divorced two or three days later is find and dandy. But FOR God's sake don't let "teh gays" enjoy the rights and priviledges of marry!

I am so tired of married homophobic celebrities who cannot keep their marriages intact putting down gay coupless, many of whom are in long term relationships, do not cheat, and who want nothing more than to legalise their union so that they can paricipate in the rights and responsibilities of marriage.
