Anybody need some SimplyThick?
It's for people that have swallowing difficulties and need their food thickened.

It is sooooo much better than those powders because those powders have a taste, the powder settles to the bottom and if the drink sits out the drink gets toooo thick.

Simply thick is a tasteless gel. My daughter needed it for awhile, and I just want to get rid of the big boxes.
contact me if you're interested, and I will make you an amazing deal.

1. If no one is a taker, the Salvation Army often takes medical supplies
for use in emergencies. At least they do not go to waste.

5. Yeah - I'm going to probably donate it to a non-profit children's hospital if I have no takers here.

I just thought I'd offer it to my DU family first :)

On edit - because I wish I knew of this stuff when my father was still alive...I used to have to mix his drinks with that disgusting powder, and I know many DUers are taking care of their aging parents.

3. Another place you might consider are charity nursing homes.
There's one for indigent veterans in our area, run by a convent. They were ecstatic with my father-in-laws supplies after he died. The thickener you mention, adult diapers, and all that sort of thing were more than graciously received. In fact, the Mother Superior of the place came out and personally thanked my wife and I for our donation.

That said, where the hell is the VA?
