2. Thanks but that's not the one I saw on her in the movie.
It had a huge dragon face and the tattoo took up most of her back. But there was only a fleeting glimpse. thanks again.

8. You are too kind. Have you seen the movie? Because I might be giving away
something to tell you the shot in which it is visible.

10. I bought it when it was first released.
So yes I've watched it. I can only photo the tv screen but that is good resolution - don't know how to take a frame from the dvd on the computer. Hope that would be ok.

12. I dont wish you to go to a lot of trouble. I cant believe that there isnt a image of it on the
internets. The only time I know that the tattoo is visible in the first movie, which is the only one i have seen, is when she is making love with Bloomkvist (sp?). Just a glimpse but it was scary.

13. I just watched "The Girl that Played with Fire". The tattoo is shown pretty good in the opening
scene. I tried to photograph the TV screen but it didnt come out very good. I cant believe the picture isnt available on the internets.

15. Had to search to find this
I've just ordered The Girl that Played with Fire from Amazon.co.uk - hadn't realised it was released. When I can see what you're looking for I'll check back on the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for you.

Dragon tattoos seem to be hot right now. Can't imagine why. In the book the tattoo was on Salander's right shoulder.

9. Loved the series and loved the film!
Can't imagine the American version will do it justice.

11. I have read the first two books and seen the first Swedish flim. I agree with your concerns re. the
American version. If you saw the movie you saw the tattoo. It was startling and I would love to see it more clear.

can't recommend it enough. The Swedish version, that is. americanizing it will destroy it. :( ugh.

16. It's not your traditional dragon tattoo.
The dragon is clawing out of her skin. I got a good look in the second film. Waiting for Hornet's Nest in DVD.
