I propose a bill - Surprise Hand Recounts

They can be done any day after the election for 22 months after the election.

Can be done on any one county per day, per candidate in each state.

You might have to go back a few times to cover some of the larger counties but smaller ones could be done in a day I'm sure.

I'm thinking I'll go take a peek at my county this week, anyway.

Would surprise hand recounts still be a good idea? I think it would be a good idea. Anything more than a .05 discrepancy should make voting officials liable for criminal charges pending investigation.
