the computerized election machines. Heavy turnouts are for the Democrats. There were 50,000 more Democrats in Florida than repubs before this year. Did they count the early votes throughout the state? Apparently they didn't do it in Miami-Dade. This is unbelieveable. How can there be this many stupid people in this country. Especially with all the voter registrations. I don't get it.

Remember, Bush's little fantasy empire is entirely dependent upon international lines of credit, and their faith in Bush's conquer and bankrupt platform is already growing thin. If he can't borrow, he can't invade, and without an army, he can't rule.
To our European friends: please start to work on economic sanctions the moment Bush officially steals the election, assuming he succeeds at it. Treat us the way you'd treat any rogue nation that threatens the world. I know at least some of us will be working at changing this regime from the inside.

Why are we surprised at this shit? Just step back and think for a moment: the company that manufactures the e-voting machines is a Repub company, whose CEO promised to "deliver" OH votes to Bush.
How is it possible that this situation even came to pass? Everyone is just too trusting. They steal it with glee, knowing that because it's so blatant we will all say, oh it would just be too obvious if they stole it.
This shit has to end. That scum bastard lying fuck can't be allowed to defile the White House for another 4 years.

I went into this believing that Kerry needed 72% of the popular vote for it to look "even."

Take a look at NH as a microcosm for the country. Maybe that's not valid, but this is my post, and I'm going to make that assertion.
Even with only 4 electoral votes, we're a so-called battleground state.
So. . . there were some major voter registration efforts, which I think the commentators pretty much believe was "won" by the dems.
Then both parties put on a major get out the vote effort -- hell, there were more than 600 volunteers active in our country democratic office. And the secretary of state estimated a record 600,000 voter turnout.
As of now, with 481,000 votes counte, Kerry's up by about 7,500.
The point? We have paper ballots throughout the state. So, if we're a microcosm -- major voter registration, major get out the vote, countable and recountable and verifiable ballots -- and Kerry is ahead, wouldn't you think you'd see comparable results elsewhere in the US? Add to that some of the more responsible pollsters drawing the same conclusions, and you do in fact have to wonder about where the popular vote stands.
Is something fishy? Certainly there's an odor.

I seriously doubt Bush is winning w/o some rigging of the election.
Anybody with half a brain knows Kerry had this election in the bag.

I saw the voters here in Alabama....too many newcomers and I'm sure they voted Kerry.
I can't believe the rest of the country has become Alabama. I just can't believe it.....
There are many states left yet....(pun unintentional, but surely appropriate).
Don't freak out yet.
