Americans ask for global forgiveness for re-electing Bush
It started the day after the US presidential election with one student posting a picture of himself on the Internet holding up a sign reading: "Sorry world -- half of America."

Within just a few days, a Web site set up by James Zetlen, www.sorryeverybody.com, had 27 million hits, he said.

The site features more than 2,200 pictures of contrite Americans holding up placards expressing their sorrow at the victory of George W. Bush. There are 1,000 more pictures waiting to be posted.

I did a DU search on james zetlen and his website but got no hit. It's a little hard to believe this wasn't posted already.

1. We didn't vote for him and
I don't believe that most of America voted for him. It was a coup/
others just don't see that.

4. We need to bang harder overseas!
I am a new poster and am completely motivated by what I see at DU. I am originally from London, England and I can tell you that many of my English friends feel terrible for us. They think it was hacked too. I just wanted to mention that at DU we could all start emailing the BBC and The GaurdianUK to get them behind our cause. Many expats get thier news from these sources and they are well respected for true investigative journalism. We need to be bangin on thier doors. The article mentioned in this thread is self defeatist. We need to be hitting every editor at every paper we can now! We have 28 days to pull this off!

6. Here's a link!

People keep questioning where those military votes went to... Ever think about the number of overseas CIVILIAN VOTES whose numbers eclipse the military 5-fold and are overwhelmingly anti*??? The Pentagon shut down its web-site to suppress registration. HOW MANY, after frantic transatlantic calls, discovered their names were NOWHERE to be found? Not a peep. Wonder why. ;-)
