The Crooks are at it again, Limits put on hacking demonstration,

Programmers might have hacked into democracy elsewhere, but it could get derailed in Riverside County.

In December, Supervisor Jeff Stone, frustrated with continual confrontations from the Temecula-area community watchdog group created to oversee Riverside County elections, challenged Save R Vote to hack into the county’s voting machines. Stone laid odds the group couldn’t do it.

That was until they hired Finnish computer programmer Harri Hursti - who successfully tampered with a Diebold voting machine in the HBO documentary “Hacking Democracy” - to attempt the hack.

Now Stone has thrown a couple of ground rules into the mix — no tools and no dismantling the machine. And the hacker has to infiltrate the system in 15 minutes, the estimated time it takes a voter to do their civic duty.

Tom Courbat, executive director of Save R Vote, says Stone needs to be realistic.

Realistic? Stone needs to come to terms with the fact that the SECRET VOTE COUNTING GAME IS OVER. Maybe he just didn't get the memo.

2. If Harri Hursti can't prove within
15 minutes that democracy is at risk when using the e-sleeze machines, to count our votes, that means the sleeze machines are A-OK. I don't think so

I'm a voter, I'm willing to give Harri Hursti or anyone else, as long as they want, to make sure the e-sleeze machines are counting the ballots correct.

But being as I KNOW that these secret vote counting machines are there for one thing, AND ONE THING ALONE, to Prevent us, (We The People) from seeing the Votes being Counted,

It is indeed embarrassing, that there are People and Politicians that continue to support using them.

3. Now I ask myself...
why would someone want to restrict a demonstration on the ease of gross election theft?

Hmmm...hmmm...um, hmmm.

4. Yep. ** GAME OVER **
However, I find it exceedingly revealing that, not only does Stone want to put severe constraints on the testing, he appealed to the rejected McPherson to intervene for him and impose the constraints.

So we can clearly see that:
* Stone knows these machines are rig-able
* Stone knows that McPherson knows they're rig-able
* Stone DOESN'T want that rig-ability to be demonstrated
* Stone knows that McPherson ALSO doesn't want that rig-ability to be demonstrated

Well done, Supervisor Stone
