ES&S To Get Its Day In Court

ES&S, Election Systems and Software, Inc., will get to defend its right to keep its source code confidential in two-day hearings in Tallahassee, Dec. 19th and 20th, a Tallahassee judge ruled this afternoon.

An attorney for Christine Jennings wants to open up voting machines to prove that the reason some 18,000 people didn't appear to vote in Congressional District 13 was due to voting machine error.

ES&S is touting state statutes that protect voting machine trade secrets in its fight against opening up its source code. ES&S and Jennings will get to duke it out to see whether "reasonable necessity" to figure out what happened in the Sarasota election trumps trade secret protections. A decision could have national implications in future lawsuits involving electronic voting machines.

2. I guarantee you one thing

there's absolutely nothing special about the code they use. Any 12 year old that has an interest could write it. I think they'll be embarrassed because its so simple. It's also dangerous because its so simple.

3. ES&S touch screens had lots of switching, disappearing votes, glitches, malfunctions

resulting in late opening polls, long lines, millions unable to vote or vote on backup paper,
throughout the U.S. Given all of the switching and disappearing votes all over the country, why aren't candidates everywhere
pursueing recounts and audits of the ES&S machines and software????

4. The candidates don't want recounts and audits because

they are in on the secret vote counting scam, and they don't want to let the scam go, so they will try the usual, prepare a bill that they think can fool us into believing that they have fixed the problem. :)

5. I was talking about the Dem candidates that lost close races with

lots of irregularities reported.

Given the high levels of manipulation and very low level of reliability of the results of counts by DREs, as is well documented by my summary,
candidates should always be slow to concede and should conduct audits of results- it appears that lots of candidates who the majority of voters prefered ending up losers based on the "official counts".
Why do the Dems concede so easily when the balance of the results and irregularity reports indicate they likely won?
If there were irregularity, it is usually possible to document them if you go to the effort and start immediately.

6. I was talking about all the Politicians, winners and losers

and their silence when it comes to these secret vote counting machines, I'd be a bit concerned how the votes were being counted if I was in the race, but to these politicians it doesn't seem to be a big concern. Why? If I was a Politician I would atleast look into it the possibility of vote manipulation, if there was enough people bitchen and moaning about the counting machines, but to this crew SILENCE.

The only conclusion I can draw from all of this is that once you become a candidate in the race, you are sworn to secrecy and/or SILENCE about the vote counting machines. If not why aren't the Politicians ON TV explaining to the American people, as to why the "CONSPIRACY THEORIST" are so wrong about the secret vote counting machines? Because it would be IMPOSSIBLE for them to do that, AND THEY KNOW IT!
