Watch the numbers as they creep toward 51/49. See if you can find a pattern change suggestive of, oh say, a computer software algorithm running a 5% flip (10% vote shift overall) to Republicans with a 51%/49% victory cap, limit, or ceiling so as to restrain the algorithm from over-blowing the vote margin.

For kicks, check the affiliations of the squeak-win Republicans, particularly their RNC and White Hose connections.

1. I"m afraid of this for CA 11. Jerry's office is reporting lots of
voter suppression / dirty tricks and EIRS shows reports of vote flipping in San Joaquin Co.

The race was a statistical dead heat going in, with the Dem ahead by two pts.

2. A question , please, Mr. Humphrey.
In 2004, Arlen Specter took 64 of 67 counties here in PA. Most with at least double the number of votes received by his opponent.

Does that reflect an anomaly or am I totally off-base in questioning these results?

It has never seemed right somehow.

Thanks.

3. Very good idea....
With no exit polls stealing house seats is much trickier.... especially with people voting so strongly against Bush.

Please also take screenshots as you go. If live election stealing is underway in some of these races they are going to have to do so very cleverly basing their stealing margins on pre-election polls and early reporting precincts.

If their calculations were wrong on the pre-election polls then narrow republican losses that turn into narrow republican gains will be particularly suspicious.
