I just cried a lot

Nice long video of what went on in 2004, the day of the certification of the election - scenes from the whole rally (not my & dzika's video)...think i saw my sign in there somewhere...

I cried :( Because of the emotion, and seeing Bill Moss, I remembered walking behind him just admiring him. couldn't say anything, just stared, with admiration, and now he's gone :( And Andy too :(

Please, I hope this doesn't happen again next month. I have only been able to vote since 2000 and all of my experiences so far have just been frauds.
Please please please, don't let it happen again :(

1. Sorry, kiddo.

 I think we can at least talk about it more honestly this time. We've got RFK Jr. on our side, among many others.

It will finally work out.

I believe.

Edited on Sat Oct-28-06 01:18 AM by Faye
it's just something someone else put together of the speakers that day, and some people from the crowd talking about what was going on. i think you'll be ok if you watch it :)

4. You must be around the same age as my sons, Faye.
I regret that Bush is the first impression new, young voters have of the presidency. He's not like any other president that we've had -- shades of Nixon, yes, but Nixon's corruption pales in comparison to this one.

I've encouraged my sons to read more about American history, particularly about past presidencies so that they'll be assured that government can be better, but nothing could have prepared us for what has been going on in the Bush administration. Bush gave false promises & misrepresented himself to emotionally vulnerable groups to get enough votes to manipulate himself into the WH; we were blindsided.

But the internet has been a valuable tool for learning the truth & getting out the word, so kudos to you for sharing this video.

And cheer up -- what goes up must come down. This administration's rhetoric & manipulations have gotten old; I feel good about the upcoming election.

5. I Showed Up that day and it was incredible -- SEE THIS VIDEO & read this post.
I came to this day after a month in Ohio serving as one of the nine regional coordinators of the Ohio Recount. I saw things there that would curl your hair -- will go to my grave knowing that Kerry won Ohio but thanks to Blackwell and others, we couldn't prove it. And my own state of Pennsylvania had our exit polls "off" by a greater margin, but Kerry was so far ahead in PA it didn't flip the result. Scary. Terrifying. And WRONG.

So we all rolled in to D.C. on January 6, 2005.

Will never forget how we all came together in the couple of days leading up to that event, most of us had never met except online, we made history and life-long friends. Will never forget working with Kip Humphrey and the 51 Capital March people; a bunch of us canvassed D.C. while others like Andy and a bunch of people canvassed Congress.

Will never forget January 6 itself -- that cool damp day, soft light and fog, hearing Jesse Jackson (I was 10 feet in front of him when he gave this speech), meeting David Cobb for the first time (and a bunch of the rest of you guys), and the amazing march down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol. Became the cover image for "Help America Vote -- On Paper" and much more.

Later as 2005 unrolled, some of us became "the people who we are waiting for" in Nashville & Portland, Some of us took and gave testimony in Houston, some of us marched with Jesse later that summer in Atlanta. We've lost Andy, we've lost Bill Moss, my own mother took a huge stroke and my life is upheaved horribly, but we do what we can. Many of us have gone on to start or sustain election integrity groups, some of us have become accomplished citizen-lobbyists, new media people, bloggers, writers, and more.

And now here we are a little over a week away from November 2006 -- a huge election. An election that Will Pitt has termed "Andy's Election" because Andy KNEW how critical this one is.

For those of you who weren't around here in 2004 and 2005, learn the history. Go back and look at the archives, but look quick. Because EVERYONE needs to get out over the next 10 days and DO SOMETHING.

--Volunteer for Pollworkers For Democracy ( http://www.pollworkersfordemocracy.org ) and/or become a pollwatcher for your party or candidate and help report problems on the machines through P4D.
-- Volunteer for Election Protection with PFAW or other groups ( http://ep365.org )
-- Give some money and help to your state election integrity group and also one or more of the underfunded national ones.
-- Educate yourself through the above groups' resources.
-- Spread the word about the machines to the media, candidates, and anyone who will listen. The message is make sure to get out and VOTE (if you don't vote there is a 100 percent chance it won't be counted) but be vigilant. Tell candidates DO NOT CONCEDE until every vote is counted. Tell the Democratic Party to fight for every vote this time.
-- Report election day problems to 1-866-OUR-VOTE
-- Get out your ORANGE clothes and ribbons and signs and be ready to take to the streets (non-violently) if it's stolen (or just a Train Wreck), and keep working for better voting systems even if it's not. Because even if this one seems 'clean', as long as we can't verify our votes the potential to steal (and just lose votes through faulty machines) remains lurking for 2008 and beyond.

NEVER GIVE UP! NGU!

PS -- Faye! It's ELECTION Fraud! ;-)

The video in the OP is the long video, about 25 minutes. However, on the bottom of page where the long video is located, there is a different link for Faye's stolen election.
