Hudson school board recount has same winners
Hudson Star Observer
Published Thursday, April 13, 2006

After nearly two days of recounting ballots, the final tally in the Hudson School Board race shows Tracy Habisch-Ahlin is indeed the winner of the third spot on the Hudson Board of Education.

During last week's election, Tom Holland and Brian Bell clearly won the first two positions. Habisch-Ahlin won the third spot with a one-vote margin over the only incumbent in the race, Priscilla Wyeth (1,816-1,815). In the recount, Habisch-Ahlin actually won by a two vote margin. She maintained her 1,816 total, but Wyeth dropped to 1,814.

There were also minor changes (two votes or less) in some of the other candidates totals. While a flame war erupted @ DU.
