why are people panicking?
Bush hasn't one a single state he didn't win last time, and looks to be in trouble in Ohio and New Hampshire.

2. It's natural to worry right now as numbers fluctuate
But there's nothing one can do til it's all over or, at least, moved on to the next stage...

12. go to the county breakdown
the counties with large populations and large Kerry numbers haven't reported as a high as a percentage as the small counties that are heavily for Bush. Be encouraged.

23. Don't believe the hype.
My sister is in Dayton - she says the stations are reporting a slight Kerry lead + too close to call.

Polls are PACKED - polling to stay open till past midnite - just announced!

Ohio is still very much with us.

5. Because it looked like a Kerry landslide
and although it could happen, it's slow reporting. And nobody trusts the Bushwackers and their electoral ethics.

14. Columbus
Innercity Columbus still have people voting right now, might not be done until after midnight. Also they are only reporting 10% out of the highest dem county in the state (Cyahoga/Cleveland).

We still have OH, FL, PA, WI, NM, AR, NV, NH, HI...and not to mention NY and CA yet to report

WE WILL WIN...no doubt about it

10. Good point.
It is a bit agonizing though, waiting for those key Kerry state victories to roll in.

No, I'm not panicking. But...

This makes me long for the good old days, 1992, 1996.

18. Because
I could be wrong about Kerry winning and the thought of 4 more years of bush just makes me hugely depressed! And I don't trust them not to steal it. And I'm not a patient person!!!

20. Hopeful news from my dad!!
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 10:33 PM by Jen6
His girlfriend's brother has been the editor of some major newspapers and is very well connected in Washington (for instance; says he know who killed Kennedy, but won't tell anyone). Three days ago, he stopped by his sister's home on his way to a nine day Kerry victory party in DC. He seemed to have NO DOUBT that Kerry would win. He knows things we don't, so that gives me a bit of hope!

(And no, I won't tell you which papers)!
