"Seedplanters" needed to distribute free video CDs on election justice

hey folks, i've been working on this project for way too long and it's time to get it going.

I've been putting together a CD that consists mainly of videos, and a few documents. They're all MOV and WMV files that can be viewed on any computer. You've probably already seen most of them, but there are millions of people who haven't, because of the media blockade.

Included on the CD are:

the Votergate 30 minute movie
8 minute trailer to the new Electile Dysfunction movie
Intro to Invisible ballots movie
the TV show on MSNBC with Bev and Howard Dean
Bob Fitrakis at the LA teach-in
Wayne Madsen at the Oakland Teach-in
"Illegitimate Election" by the DU folks
Video the Vote from Ohio
Jon Stewart Daily Show on e-voting

yes, all this and more fits on one CD!

there are also some documents on there but the focus is the videos.

In an attempt to get around the blockade, the CDs are going to be distributed for free. Everyone who receives a copy of the CD will be asked to make at least 3 copies and pass them on.

To kick off the project, I'm seeking "Seed planters," people who want to help out and make more than 3 copies. Seed planters will be asked to make at least 20 copies. The cost will be minimal, as blank CDs can be had for very cheap, almost nothing. Seed planters will receive one source CD by snail mail.

It's pretty simple, but the potential is we can open some more minds.

on the CD it is stated very plainly, people are asked to VOLUNTARILY make three copies and pass them on. There are no consequences of not doing it. There are benefits of doing it - helping to save our democracy.

Have you considered creating it as a DVD? It is just one more step (convert files) and you can reach more people easily.

and i'm hoping that some folks who get involved in this will help. Most of the stuff I have are MOV and WMV files and I've tried converting them to DVD with limited success. Once I get this CD out the door and have some others helping me I definitely want to make a DVD. There are other DVDs coming out too, which will help. My focus is keeping it free and something that people can copy and give away.

there is a very basic JPG and GIF image that on the CD that can be imported into just about any label software and used for a label. Please send me your email address to gary(at)solarbus.org and I will sign you up. If you want to make a better label it's not too late.
