Just watched: "Uncovered: the War on Iraq" for the first time

My nephew bought the film for me. Oh my God, how could I have not
seen this movie before?! If I ever wondered why I and other people
despise the current president as much as we do, this movie answers
the question in spades!

6. I watched it before the election. My local library has it but I live in a

liberal city. It wasn't a lot that I didn't know because I'd followed the buildup quite closely and was getting my news from "liberal biased media"; C-span, NPR, PBS, the net. Confirmed some things for me; before the war, I was one who was saying, Where's the evidence? I am not seeing any evidence. It does a great job of confirming that there was nothing whatsoever wrong wtih the intellligence. What was wrong was the blatant distortion and lying about the intelligence.

It is an exceptionally powerful movie. A lot of this information I knew before we went to war, and I was astonished that even one person gave Bush the authority. Most of this information was already available on the Internet.

I just watched it the other day. Apparently, 'Unprecedented', 'Uncovered', and 'Unconstitutional' was a trilogy of sorts.

"Control Room"- about how "truth" is created and dispersed to the American public.

16. Together, "Control Room" and "Uncovered"

give the best analysis and portrayal of bush's war than probably any other sources. What really gets to me is the look in peoples faces in Control Room when the bombing starts and later when they learn that journalists in Baghdad themselves are bombed.

How could our country have gotten where it is right now, allowing this war and all of its subsequent atrocities to occur.

These two documentaries should be required in all US history and political high school classes. Unfortunately, with the current climate, if a teacher were to show them they'd probably be arrested as terrorists. heil bush.

And the guy who was in the military (for CentCom) was interviewed on Now with Bill Moyers Friday night - well worth the half hour. I think it's rebroadcast at 6PM or so tonight. He QUIT. Can you believe it?
