New statistics on Florida fraud - please share
I don't know how to post JPGs of the raw data I collated for this analysis so I'll just give you the results of my research on Florida:

Three way cross tabulation: Machine Vs who won in 2000 Vs Percentage change in votes

Touchscreen machines used in counties that went to Bush in 2000
Mean change in votes for Republican +34.8% with SD = 12.7 n = 10
Mean change in votes for Democrat +25.6% with SD = 9.4 n = 10

Touchscreen machines used in counties that went to Gore in 2000
Mean change in votes for Republican +30.8% with SD = 11.7 n = 5
Mean change in votes for Democrat +19.2% with SD = 4.5 n = 5

Opti-Scan machines used in counties that went to Bush in 2000
Mean change in votes for Republican +39.5% with SD = 8.8 n = 42
Mean change in votes for Democrat +22.0% with SD = 13.1 n = 42

Opti-Scan machines used in counties that went to Gore in 2000
Mean change in votes for Republican +40.2% with SD = 12.5 n = 10
Mean change in votes for Democrat +31.0% with SD = 13.7 n = 10

Those really, really vast counties that made up a lot of the Gore vote were given touch screens. If you get a 25% increase in Dem votes and the base is a really big number, it translates into a huge gain for Kerry. If you know you will lose a county where there are a lot of votes expected, you simply trash as many votes as possible without regard to who cast them. Thus the bizarre 5% differential between Bush 2000 and Gore 2000 counties that have identical machines.

The beauty of this analysis is that there is one BIG fraud that is easy to overlook and lots of little vote skims which I'll write up tomorrow when I've had some sleep. Please share this with others. Make pretty charts and all that wonderful stuff.

I'll post the rest of what I'm finding tomorrow. If anyone can tell me how to post JPG files here, I can at least show you the spread sheets I generated even if you won't be able to cut'n'paste the data. Even better, if there is a way to display spread sheets, tell me all about it in a PM.
Thanks!

Faun

1. Also
to reinterpret the data,

Of the 52 optical scan counties

29 counties had more registered Dems than Reps, but more votes for * than Kerry (1 county was opposite this, but the registered Reps was very close to Dems)

Of the 15 touch screen counties

1 county had more registered Dems than Reps, but more votes for * than Kerry (and none opposite)

Hmmm...

3. Thank you for all you've done, it's very impressive.
Isn't it nice of Rove/Junior to get so greedy! ;) They couldn't settle for just enough to get by, no, they had to go for it all. What goes around...

4. They were creating an Owellian mandate.
So in those terms it was not so greedy, but they still left a trail of crumbs while robbing the cookie jar.

We need to keep this fight going.

9. What is amazing about all these figures,
and all the others that have been posted, is that the Republicans
committed fraud on a huge scale - massive tampering of the vote
numbers in so many instances. Yet Bush still only managed to get
51% of the vote.

I'd say that Kerry DID win in a landslide. He can't let this stand,
he just can't!
