3. One of mine, Senator Corzine, skipped town...
Just found out this morning that Senator Corzine was on his way to Sri lanka.

His aides took input, were very receptive. I met with the NJ State Director before Christmas. Followed up with email and voice mail this week but didn't get a response. Faxed a meeting request to his scheduler down here. When I followed up was given her voice mail. Others got meetings with members of his staff and gave encouraging reports yesterday.

Then this morning, I went to his office for a final follow-up, and poof, he was gone.
