We MUST ask all Senators to contest the vote, says Conyers
2 months ago, Conyers said the only reason the Senators did not contest the vote in 1/2001 was because "no one asked them to do it"

Now...dont you dare believe any of these freepers who wants to quiet you down or make you believe we can trust in our Senator's silence. Thats exactly what Conyers doesnt want you to do.

DONT GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT...FIGHT for your country's life!

2. FIGHT AS YOU WRITE
Now is the time! Write your Senator with your opinions, in a polite and reasoned tone - and ask him or her to challenge the OH Electoral votes, in order to investigate the crimes committed by the GOP, their leaders and their puppet corporations!

Now is the time!

BELIEVE!

3. I'm incredibly sick of the bullying mentality
that tries to label an opposing point of view as the voice of a freeper. It becomes more tempting each day to label you all as rigid, delusional tin foilers.

5. 'you all' = those with an opposing point of view?
Edited on Mon Jan-03-05 07:07 PM by FreepFryer
Well, in so posting you gave into your temptation and labeled all those calling for action as rigid, delusional tin foilers.

Feel better?

Cause we're not stopping. And you are welcome to your opinion - we'd hate to disenfranchise you from participating.

Sound familiar? "Refusal to permit disenfranchisement of those seeking to express differing, dissenting opinions?"

Sounds like good old fashioned Liberalism at it's best.

Maybe that's why so many see it as compatible with their Liberal beliefs to press for an investigation into massive voter disenfranchisement and civil rights violations.

Keep up the fight! Express yourself, don't repress others!

6.  I am sick of some posters forcing their own agenda down the throats
posters who don't agree with them. It is almost as though they search out forums that hold opposing views in order to mess with them. Sort of like Pro Lifers joining a Pro-Choice forum and forcing people to listen to them. Why would anyone do that? Just wondering. I understand free speech, but can't some people agree to disagree? Esp. on a Board where we support Democratic and Progressive ideals?

7. I know - it would be very upsetting

If it didn't reflect the incredible opportunity and power we now possess to advocate fundamental change.

Each bully I see trying to stifle discussion reinforces my faith in DU, and in the Democratic Party. We are inclusive, diverse, and more powerful than a monochromatic horde of self-interested Repukes.

And they know it. We will triumph!
